Red Hawk Golf & Resort in Sparks, Nevada selected as host venue for The Tournament in 2027
St. Paul, Minn – The National Association of Left-Handed Golfers (NALG), an organization dedicated to supporting and promoting left-handed golfers through events, resources, and community, has announced the Division Champions of the 90th Annual NALG National Tournament held September 23rd – 27th, 2026 in St. Paul, MN. The host venue for the 2027 91st annual national tournament was also announced.
Minnesota’s Easton Fiddle, a 17-year-old high school golfer, shot 7 under par to claim his first national title at the beautiful Keller Course in nearby Maplewood, Minnesota. As a member of the Minnesota National Development Team and recent AJGA event winner, Easton has rapidly attained an exceptional level of golfing skills. Fellow Minnesota lefty, Nolan Frank, captured 2nd place in the Championship Division, followed closely by Colorado lefty and defending champion, Joe Buchholz.
Division Champions were also named across five additional categories:
- Open – Brandon Schindler (OH)
- Senior (>age 55) – Lane Hawkinson (OR)
- Masters (>age 70) – Randy Oglesbee (GA)
- Grand Masters (>age 80) – Jim Pfrogner (FL)
- Women’s – Angela Walker (FL)
“This year’s tournament brought together players from 20 states and three countries, with golfers ranging in age from 17 to 89,” said Sid Miner, Past Chairman of the National Association of Left-Handed Golfers. “It was exciting to see the field grow in both the number of participants and overall talent this year. Add the opportunity to play and experience three excellent golf courses in and around the St. Paul, MN area and it was truly a week to remember.”
Additionally, the host venue for the 91st NALG National Tournament, set for June 12th – 15th, 2027, was announced as Red Hawk Golf & Resort in Sparks, Nevada near Reno.
“We are thrilled to announce that next year’s tournament will be held at Red Hawk,” explained Miner. “Red Hawk offers a 380-acre resort and golf facility, featuring two distinct 18-hole championship courses that will treat our left-handers to a high-desert golfing experience like no other.”
