With world class craftsmanship at the core of both brands, the Miura/Reigning Champ collaboration showcases the company’s shared dedication to innovation and timeless design. The MB-101 is one of the most popular irons ever produced for the legendary Miura lineup, and the co-branded apparel collection—which includes t-shirts, polos, pullovers, jackets, caps and shorts—was designed to appeal to a discerning audience. Together they reaffirm each brand’s strength within the marketplace as best-in-class manufacturers.
Miura Golf’s handmade forged golf clubs are designed and manufactured by the Miura family at their factory in Himeji, Japan and will never be mass-produced. His sons, Shinei and Yoshitaka, have continued to carry on the family legacy by maintaining the company’s standard as one of the most-respected brands in the golf industry.
Like Miura, Reigning Champ is a company that produces top quality products from its own factory in Vancouver, Canada. Inspired by the culture of sport, its premium craftsmanship, use of unparalleledperformance fabrics, and attention to detail have led Reigning Champ to become the top producer of athletic wear in the world. With store locations in Vancouver, Toronto and Tokyo, Reigning Champ has been building its renowned legacy since 2007.
“In my experience, the best collaborations are the ones between like-minded entities that share the same values and standards, and that is exactly the case with Miura Golf and Reigning Champ,” said Bill Holowaty, COO, Miura Golf. “Having our iconic MB-101 iron and Reigning Champ’s incomparable apparel emblazoned with our melded logos, showcases the dedication our companies devote to innovation and timeless design.”
A common goal for each company is to embrace the simplicity of their respective creative processes. Their pursuit of this ideal guides their approach every day and is never taken for granted.
“Simplicity is arguably one of the hardest things to master, but just like the Miura family, our focus has always revolved around an obsession with quality, respect for craft and an unwavering resolve to master simplicity,” said Craig Atkinson, Founder, Reigning Champ. “The capsule of co-branded apparel we released was designed for a discerning audience and reaffirms each brand’s strength within the marketplace.”
