Vancouver, BC – – The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada’s premier junior golf circuit, is gearing up for one of the biggest events of the year—the highly anticipated 2024 MJT National Championship presented by adidas Golf.
A maximum field size of 112 top junior golfers from across Canada have qualified for this prestigious tournament, taking place on the Legends Course at Orange Lake Golf Resort in Kissimmee, FL., from November 7 to 10.
The 112 elite players in six divisions are set to experience not only a world-class setting and the chance to be crowned MJT National Champion, but also a Guest Speaker appearance by renown coach to PGA TOUR stars, Sean Foley. This is in addition to incredible tee gifting and the most valuable prize purse to date, courtesy of MJT Platinum Partners, adidas Golf, Maui Jim and Titleist.
Other college coaches will also be in attendance, along with the Henry Brunton Golf Academy, and results submitted for several major ranking systems, including the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), AJGA PBE Stars, Global Junior Golf Ranking, Junior Golf Scoreboard, and Junior Golf Hub.
Designed by Arnold Palmer, The Legends Course at Orange Lake Resort features a blend of Scottish links and Florida-style golf, with challenging water hazards, well-placed bunkers, and lush fairways. Its stunning landscape and championship-level design will undoubtedly test skill and composure, making it the perfect backdrop for the MJT’s season-ending showdown.
The official first-round draw for the 2024 MJT National Championship is available on the MJT website, www.maplejt.com. The site will be updated daily with results as the competition unfolds.
