Multiple junior golf organizations to highlight 2018 initiatives and programs; PGA Tour and LPGA Tour professionals share junior golf experiences
ORLANDO, Fla., April 23, 2018 – With the end of the school year on the horizon and golf courses opening throughout the U.S. for the spring and summer, Golf Channel’s Morning Drive will shine a spotlight on junior golf this week. Morning Drive, the network’s daily lifestyle news program, will showcase junior golf programs and initiatives with special features, guest interviews and personality profiles throughout the week.
Junior Golf Week began today continues through Sunday, April 29. Organizations that will be featured during the week include:
– Drive, Chip & Putt
– Evans Scholars Foundation
– LPGA-USGA Girls Golf
– National Alliance for Youth Sports
– PGA Junior League
– The First Tee
– World Golf Foundation
Topics featured this week during Junior Golf Week will include junior golf fashion, equipment, mental coaching, swing instruction, fitness and practice tips, as well as advice on how to secure college golf scholarships.
Scheduled guests on Morning Drive for Junior Golf Week include Hall-of-Famers Davis Love III and Jack Nicklaus; PGA TOUR professionals Justin Thomas, Ollie Schniederjans and Patton Kizzire; LPGA Tour professional Tiffany Joh; PGA TOUR Champions professional Hal Sutton; renowned instructors and college golf coaches. They will share their junior golf experiences and how they are supporting the next generation of golfers. In addition, some of the game’s top golf course architects will share advice on how juniors can get involved in golf course architecture.
Morning Drive airs Monday-Wednesday from 7-9 a.m. ET; Thursday-Friday from 9-11 a.m. ET and Saturday-Sunday from 10 a.m.-Noon ET.
