– Five new sales reps join fast growing brand following extensive market growth & popularity –
Motocaddy, the world’s leading electric caddy brand, has expanded its sales team in the U.S. with five new hires across the country reflecting the brand’s growing popularity and extensive market progression over the past 12 months.
The new starters and the regions they cover are:
- Andy Hollister, PGA – Intermountain West
- Kyle Gomez – Western Oregon and Western Washington
- Joe Puskarich – South Texas
- Thomas Valikonis – North Florida, Florida Panhandle and Coastal Georgia
- Travis West – Southwest
The Motocaddy U.S. team is headed up by joint Vice Presidents of Sales, Mike Samoles and Andy Warren, PGA, who joined the brand earlier this year following a record 42% growth in the world’s biggest golf market in 2023.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the new reps to Motocaddy and we know they’re going to hit the ground running, because electric caddies are becoming so popular with golfers who want to enjoy walking the course and feel the health and performance benefits of doing so,” said Warren.
“From being out on the road and having conversations with green grass accounts and big box retailers, we know there’s a huge opportunity for Motocaddy to become a dominant force as proven in other large golfing markets like the UK and Germany, and we’ve tasked our new team to go out and really help the trade benefit from the growing popularity of ourproducts,” he added.
Motocaddy launched its North American operation in 2020 to offer U.S. based sales, service and distribution for its comprehensive range of electric caddies. Over the past four years, its award-winning remote-control models have been rated the ‘Most Wanted Electric Cart’ by leading independent reviewer MyGolfSpy, with the M7 GPS REMOTE taking top spot last year following a previous three-peat from the M7 REMOTE. The best-selling Motocaddy Dry-Series cart bag and versatile HydroFLEX carry bag were also chosen in the 2023 Golf Digest ‘Best Cart and Hybrid’ bag categories respectively.
“Motocaddy is a major global brand, having sold over 600,000 electric caddies worldwide, so I can’t wait to get started visiting current and potential customers in the next few weeks,” said Hollister, who will represent Motocaddy across Montana, Idaho, Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon. “Being a PGA Professional myself, I know Motocaddy deeply values the role that my fellow members play in the industry and we’ll be spreading that message as much as possible,” he added.
