Charleston, SC: The National Alliance for Accessible Golf (Alliance) announces that it will be featured on Viewpoint hosted by Dennis Quaid and their program that provides a unique education platform for curated content designed to inspire and illuminate.
Viewpoint is dedicated to the mission of developing and distributing social and educational programming about our neighbors, our community, and world. Each story has one thing in common – changing our lives for the better. For more than 25 years, the National Alliance for Accessible Golf has been a leader in accessibility for the golf industry, working to educate, advocate, and provide resources to improve access, inclusion, and participation in the game of golf by individuals with disabilities.
Upon becoming aware of the Alliance’s mission at the 2023 PGA Show, the Viewpoint team selected the Alliance and collaborated to produce programming that will be distributed nationally.
Executive Director Dave Barton, PGA explains, “This is a tremendous opportunity for the National Alliance for Accessible Golf to share our story and mission to a broad national audience and, if not more important, demonstrate the joy, health, and wellness benefits gained by individuals with disabilities through participation in the game of golf. The Alliance is far from alone in this effort.”
Barton continues, “Daily, around the country and the world, countless individuals, programs and organizations work to serve the adaptive golf community and draw golfers into the game. The support of the United States Golf Association (USGA) and the leading golf associations in the country have helped us establish a base of support but there is work to be done. We are hopeful this exposure will increase awareness of the range of efforts around the country and generate the additional support we all need to grow this community.”
