Thrilling NCAA college football will return to the Emerald Isle next year on Aug. 29 as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish clash against the U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen. Announced by Ireland’s Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, next year’s game is part of a five-game “American Football Series” estimated to bring in $250 million dollars to the Irish economy. Aviva Stadium is home to the Irish Rugby Football Union and Republic of Ireland’s national football team.
