ORLANDO, FL – NBC Sports Next’s online tee-time booking platforms, GolfNow and TeeOff, keep setting new booking records in 2024 and the July 4th holiday weekend (Thursday – Sunday) was no different. Together, the two services booked over 600,000 tee-times, beating the previous July 4th weekend record set in 2020 by more than 2.5%.
The weekend’s bookings also increased by over 4.4% compared to 2023. Due to drier than normal weather, regions in northeast Ohio and throughout Georgia saw the greatest increase in rounds booked across the country.
