STAMFORD, Conn. – NBC Sports will surround the 2022 PLAYERS Championship with nearly 150 hours of coverage across NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock this week from The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach., Fla., beginning tonight with Golf Central Live From THE PLAYERS at 7 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel.
NBC Sports will utilize more than 30 on-air commentators spanning live tournament and studio coverage throughout the week, including lead play-by-play commentator Dan Hicks, who along with lead NBC Sports golf producer Tommy Roy is working his 30th career PLAYERS Championship.
Live tournament coverage on GOLF Channel begins Thursday and Friday at Noon ET, with NBC and Peacock carrying exclusive live weekend coverage beginning both days at 1 p.m. ET.

GOLF Channel will present exclusive live coverage of the World Golf Hall of Fame induction ceremony this Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m. ET. Tiger Woods headlines this year’s class of inductees alongside Susie Maxwell Berning, Marion Hollins, and Tim Finchem. Features on all four inductees voiced by Rich Lerner will be shown throughout GOLF Channel’s coverage this week and leading into Wednesday night’s coverage of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which will be hosted by GOLF Channel’s David Feherty.

To celebrate THE PLAYERS this week, NBC Sports has commissioned one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork spanning a variety of mediums which will interpret and highlight the iconic 17th island green at Sawgrass. All six pieces will complete THE PLAYERS Collection and all will be created by women, in honor of GOLF Channel’s Women’s History Month celebration.
