NBC Sports to Present Coverage of Nine USGA Events this Season, Including the U.S. Women’s Open, U.S. Open, U.S. Women’s Amateur, and U.S. Amateur

More Than 25 Hours of U.S. Women’s Open Coverage From Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club June 2-5

GOLF Channel Surrounds “Golf’s Longest Day” With 10 Hours of U.S. Open Final Qualifying Coverage Across Nine Sites on Monday, June 6

 

STAMFORD, Conn.  – NBC Sports will present more than 150 hours of live USGA championship coverage in 2022, beginning Thursday, June 2, with the U.S. Women’s Open Presented by ProMedica from Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C.

In total, NBC Sports will provide live coverage of nine USGA events this season across NBC, USA Network, GOLF Channel and Peacock, including the U.S. Open from The Country Club in Brookline, Mass., June 16-19.

NBC Sports will complement USGA championship play with pre- and post-event coverage, special features, original programming, and more, including:

  • GOLF Channel’s critically-acclaimed GOLF Central Live From studio coverage at the U.S. Women’s Open and U.S. Open;
  • Comprehensive live coverage of “Golf’s Longest Day” on June 6 on GOLF Channel, as players compete at nine U.S. Open final qualifying sites across the country;
  • The three-part docuseries From Many, One: INSIDE THE 2022 U.S. OPEN, debuting June 7 on GOLF Channel.

U.S. WOMEN’S OPEN PRESENTED BY PROMEDICA

NBC Sports will present more than 25 hours of live coverage of the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open across NBC, USA Network and Peacock. Thursday-Friday coverage will air 1-3 p.m. ET on Peacock followed by coverage on USA Network from 3-8 p.m. ET. Weekend coverage on NBC will also simulcast on Peacock. GOLF Channel surrounds “Golf’s Longest Day” with 10 hours of live coverage on Monday, June 6, featuring live coverage and reports from U.S. Open final qualifying sites around the country. GOLF channel reporters will be on-site at various courses while the GOLF Channel studio will break down the results deep into the evening. More details about GOLF Channel’s coverage of “Golf’s Longest Day” will be announced in the coming days.

FROM MANY, ONE: INSIDE THE 2022 U.S. OPEN – DEBUTS JUNE 7 ON GOLF CHANNEL

Produced by GOLF Channel, in partnership with the USGA, From Many, One: INSIDE THE 2022 U.S. OPEN chronicles the journey of a number of golfers as they prepare for the 2022 U.S. Open at The Country Club, headlined by 2021 U.S. Open Champion Jon Rahm. The three-part docuseries focuses on the open nature of the championship, the grit and determination it takes to become a U.S. Open champion, and the triumph for the select few who will make the field. The first episode of the docuseries will premier Tuesday, June 7, at 9 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel. More details about From Many, One: INSIDE THE 2022 U.S. OPEN will be announced in the coming days.
