Proceeds from The Langley will benefit PGA HOPE Northern California, The Jim Langley Scholarship Fund, and the Chris Thomas PGA Associate Scholarship Fund – all programs of the NCPGA Foundation.
The Northern California PGA Foundation’s flagship program is PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere), a six week long therapeutic golf instruction program, free for military Veterans, designed to improve their mental, physical, and social health all while having fun learning to play the game of golf. The rehabilitative golf program is free to military Veterans, and since 2015, PGA HOPE Northern California has served over 2,200 Veterans. Led by Northern California PGA of America Golf Professionals, the Foundation currently offers PGA HOPE programs twice a year at twenty-five golf facilities throughout Northern California.
“As citizens of this great nation, it is our responsibility to support Veterans when they return from duty and this program funded with your generous support and taught by PGA Professionals is key to help provide the support they need, utilizing the greatest game of all,” said Suzy Schneider, Northern California PGA Foundation Program Manager.
All proceeds go directly to PGA HOPE Northern California in order to meet the demand for more programs to serve the hundreds of thousands of Veterans within the Northern California community.
