AUDUBON COUNTRY CLUB WELCOMES NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF RICHARD H. NIELSEN, JR.
Audubon Country Club is pleased to welcome Richard H. Nielsen, Jr., CEC/PCIII as its newly appointed Executive Chef. Chef Nielsen will oversee all culinary operations, providing superior member dining experiences and creative menu selections for first-class member events.
With more than 25 years of experience, Chef Nielsen has held Executive Chef roles at prestigious Clubs, including Victoria National in Indiana, listed by Golf Digest as one of America’s Top 100 Golf Courses; Sankaty Head Golf Club on Nantucket; and The Tuxedo Club in Tuxedo Park, New York. Chef Nielsen graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and earned his Certified Executive Chef designation from the American Culinary Federation, widely regarded as the hallmark of professionalism in the culinary world. In 2008, Chef Nielsen received the prestigious Pro Chef III designation from the Culinary Institute of America.
Richard Nielsen, Jr. was born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana and credits his passion for food to his grandmother’s love of gardening and cooking.
