26 Clubs, Facilities and Associations from across New Jersey to be on-site
Summit, N.J., – The New Jersey Section of the PGA of America (NJPGA) in collaboration with the New Jersey State Golf Association (NJSGA) and Metropolitan Golf Association (MGA) as well as the New Jersey Club Managers Association (NJCMA) and Golf Course Superintendents Association of New Jersey (GCSAANJ) amongst others, today announced the Golf & Country Club Career Fair which will take place on Tuesday, December 14th from 12:00 – 7:00 PM at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, N.J.
The networking event will feature employers from 26 clubs, facilities, and associations – including Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, Plainfield Country Club, Somerset Hills Country Club and many more – who will share a variety of openings in golf operations, food & beverage, golf course maintenance and clubhouse staff, among others. Additionally, the NJPGA, NJSGA and MGA will be on-site to discuss job opportunities for those pursuing a career in the business of golf.
“This golf industry is an $84 billion business with approximately 2 million jobs across the country,” said Chris Bauer, Executive Director, NJPGA. “The Golf & Country Club Career Fair is a great chance for those who are interested in making golf a career to get involved, and also an opportunity for those who may be looking for seasonal job opportunities in 2022. We strongly encourage college students who are home for the holidays and looking for summer employment to attend the event.”
