BOSTON – New England dot Golf (NEG) has announced today a partnership with Majors Challenge (www.majorschallenge.com), an online golf fantasy sports management platform.
As part of the one-year agreement, NEG will promote Majors Challenge and host opportunities for followers to join or start a golf fantasy league centered around golf’s four major championships – Masters, U.S. Open, Open Championship and PGA Championship. Players can become the commissioner of their own golf pool or join a friend’s. Commissioners chose which events to participate in during the PGA Tour season.
“We are very pleased to work with New England dot Golf as a media partner,” said Dan Pitluk, CEO and founder of Majors Challenge, a two-year-old New Jersey-based company. “Both companies have much in common including a respected and smart golf audience. We look forward to celebrating together after picking winners, not just in the majors of golf, but also in weekly contests.”
NEG is a six-year-old golf media company that has distinguished itself as the No. 1 source for golf news in the New England market for three consecutive years. The team at NEG include award-winning writers: Steve Pike, Ed Travis, Bruce Berlet, Bill Doyle, Len Ziehm, Leigh MacKay, Dave Daubert, Pam Borges, Rob Duca and more.
