(RANCH CUCAMONGA, CA) – Nexbelt®, The Belt With No Holes, would like to congratulate PGA Tour Ambassador, Jim Furyk, on capturing a 3rd place finish at the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS Golf Tournament held at the Timuquana Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida this past weekend.
Furyk fired rounds of 67, 69 & 69 to finish at 11 under par for the tournament and a 3rd Place Finish. He ranked 4th in Birdies, with 15, 8th in Putts per Greens in Regulation (1.632), and T-2nd in Scrambling for the event.
“We’d also like to congratulate Bernhard Langer, Jerry Kelly, John Daly and Ken Tanigawa, who wear Nexbelt on Tour, on their Top 20 Finishes as well,” said Nexbelt’s National Sales Manager, Barrett Martens.
When Tabitha and Jim Furyk moved to San Marco about three years ago, they decided to debut a new event to raise funds for their foundation that would highlight their favorite sport – golf – in a new location. Through a multiyear agreement, the Jim & Tabitha Furyk Foundation brought a new PGA Tour Champions event to the area with the addition of Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS presented by Circle K.
Each year, the event promises music, food and fun for all, in addition to celebrity participants. All proceeds benefit Northeast Florida charities. Constellation, a leading competitive energy company providing power, natural gas, renewable energy, and energy management products and services for homes and businesses nationwide, has selected five charities to focus their donations from the event – MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation, First Tee of North Florida, First Coast Chapter of Blessings in a Backpack, St. Johns Riverkeeper and Habitat for Humanity (Habijax).
