RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA – Nexbelt® announced today that PGA TOUR Ambassador, Marc Leishman, captured a T-5th Place Finish at the 85th Masters held at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA this past weekend.
Leishman wears the patented Fast Eddie X-Factor Golf Series belt on Tour. The Fast Eddie is basically a “Swiss Army Knife” for golfers with a hidden ball marker and divot tool that doubles as a bottle opener.
Leishman fired rounds of 72, 67, 70, and 73 to finish at 6 under par, and finish T-5th for the tournament. He left Augusta with the belief that the remainder of the major season sets up for him perhaps better than ever before. The U.S. Open in June will be held at Torrey Pines, where he is a perennial contender at the PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open, winning in 2020 after two previous runner-up finishes.
“It was obviously disappointing not to put any pressure on Hideki or really give myself a chance, “said Leishman, “but overall, it was a great week and my game felt as good as it has for a long time which makes me excited for the rest of the year now.”
This is the fiftieth Top 10 Finish of Leishman’s career and he’s won over $31.3 million dollars since he joined the PGA TOUR in 2009. He’s currently ranked 66th in the FedEx Cup Standings and 39th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
