NGF’s member-only overview features golf participation and course supply data along with rounds information for 2025

Jupiter, FL – The Graffis Report, the National Golf Foundation’s annual holistic golf industry overview, is now available for NGF members. The 2026 Graffis Report compiles many of the game’s key 2025 data points on the business of golf and the health of the game in a single publication: golf participation, engagement, rounds-played, golf course supply and development, golf equipment sales, retail supply and the game’s reach.

Members can CLICK HERE to access the full 40-page report, which is named after NGF co-founders Herb and Joe Graffis.

The 2026 Graffis Report underscores that the strength and vitality of today’s game is not a temporary post-pandemic bump, rather a recalibrated baseline built on broader access, diversified entry points, a renewed focus on the mental, physical and emotional benefits of the green grass game, and an evolving multi-channel ecosystem. Entering this year, the U.S. golf industry is experiencing sustained momentum, expanding cultural relevance, and participation levels that continue to redefine what “normal” looks like for the recreational game.

Highlights from NGF’s 2026 Graffis Report include:

  • Continued rise in on-course participation, with a net increase of another 1 million
  • Total participation at its highest level ever, driven by both traditional and off-course experiences
  • Record Rounds-Played for the fourth time in five years
  • More than 8 million women and girls playing on course for the first time ever
  • Public perception of golf increasingly aligned with being social, healthy, welcoming, and fun
  • A supply-and-demand balance that has strengthened the economic foundation of facilities nationwide
  • Continued public golf pricing increases better keep pace with inflation

NGF Members can download a copy of the full Graffis Report at the NGF website.
