Stuburt ambassador Joaquin Niemann recorded his third LIV Golf win of the season in Mexico City this weekend, with an incredible final round 65 taking him to the title by 3 shots.
This was Niemann’s third win of the season from six starts, and a 5th overall LIV Golf title taking the in-form Chilean level with Brooks Koepka for the record number of LIV Tour wins. This victory also secured Niemann’s place in the U.S. Open as he clinched one of the LIV Golf exemptions with one event remaining before the exemption deadline.
Speaking after the event, Niemann said, ““It’s special to be up there with Brooks for most wins. It’s just been three years since I joined here on LIV, and I feel like it’s a special place now for me to be here.”
This win continues an incredible run of form for Stuburt sponsored players this year, including an individual title for Sergio Garcia at LIV Golf Hong Kong, and three team victories for Fireballs G.C.
