The GTAA would like to report how golf courses are making big money and getting more golfers with Night Golf Events.
Night Golf is simply 9 holes of golf playing after sunset with glowing golf balls. The concept is simple and generating new revenue for golf courses. Night Golf can be a great fundraiser or a fun corporate outing. It brings golfers to a golf course in the evening when the course is normally shut down.
Some golf courses offer 9 holes before dark, take a break for dinner and then continue with 9 holes in the dark.
There are many benefits in hosting a night golf outing; Additional revenue, new golfers, more food and beverage revenues, more merchandise sold and great exposure in the community.
Where and how do you get started? The GTAA offers 2 free manuals: “How to host a Night Golf Tournament” for golf courses and “How to host a Fundraising Night Golf Event” for charities.
