Curry and Team Replicate Memorable Shots from Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth and McIlroy
STAMFORD, Conn. – NBC Sports and Unanimous Media have announced Niiice Shot with Stephen Curry Presented by Genesis, a new four-part series featuring four-time NBA champion and scratch golfer Stephen Curry as he attempts to replicate memorable shots in recent golf history by Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy.
Niiice Shot with Stephen Curry – which will premiere Tuesday, September 12, at 9 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel – showcases Curry alongside long-time Golden State Warriors teammate Andre Iguodala, golfing icon and 2014 U.S. Women’s Open champion Michelle Wie West, and swing coach Alex Riggs. The four-episode series also includes appearances from Rory McIlroy as he shares his unique insights and perspectives on how Curry can best execute the following four shots:
- Episode 1 – Tiger Woods’ flop shot hole-out in the 2012 Memorial Tournament;
- Episode 2 – Jordan Spieth’s hole-out from the bunker to win a sudden-death playoff at the 2018 Travelers Championship;
- Episode 3 – Rory McIlroy’s eagle hole-out on the 16th hole in the 2016 TOUR Championship;
- Episode 4 – Tiger Woods’ 2-iron stinger that he employed to avoid every bunker at the 2006 Open Championship.
