CARLSBAD, California – A 33-year-old native of South Korea used Nippon Shaft products to win the ISPS Handa Scottish Open on Sunday (July 26) at Dundonald Links Golf Club in Troon, Scotland.
The champion, Jenny Shin, used Nippon Shaft N.S.PRO 850GH neo steel shafts in her irons and N.S. PRO 850GH in her wedges to shoot a 9-under par total 279 with rounds of 66-67-71-75 and led wire-to-wire. She tied for second in birdies made (17) and tied for fifth in fewest bogeys (8) for the 72-hole event. She earned $300,000 for her second LPGA Tour victory.
