CARLSBAD, Calif.  – The winner of the LPGA ANA Inspiration used N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 105 Stiff shafts in her irons (4-PW) and the N.S.PRO MODUS³ 115 Wedge shaft in her wedges Sunday (April 4) in Rancho Mirage, California.

The wire-to-wire victory was the first for the 21-year-old from Thailand and it came at the LPGA’s first major championship of the year at the par 72 Mission Hills Country Club. She shot 21-under par with rounds of 66-69-67-68 to win by two strokes.

It was victory 230 on worldwide professional tours for the Nippon Shaft’s MODUS³ series of irons and wedges.

“Nippon Shaft is excited to congratulate the winner of this year’s ANA Inspiration,” said Hiro Fukuda, sales and marketing for Nippon Shaft. “Winning the ANA Inspiration is a great accomplishment in that it is golf’s first major championship, but it is even more special because it is her first victory on the LPGA Tour.”

More than 200 players on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, European Tour and Korn Ferry Tour use Nippon Shaft’s MODUS³ series steel shafts to help gain their desired distance, accuracy and trajectory.

Nippon Shaft products are available globally either as stock or custom shafts in many of the world’s top iron brands.  Details of these can be found at www.nipponshaft.com

Based in Yokohama, Japan, Nippon Shaft is the No. 1-selling steel shaft in Asia.  Nippon Shaft is a privately-held subsidiary of NHK Spring Co. LTD, a Japanese automobile parts manufacturer.  Nippon Shaft’s North American headquarters is in Carlsbad.
