NIPPON SHAFT WINS JAPAN’S YEAR-END EVENT

CARLSBAD, Calif.  – A 28-year-old Japanese pro used Nippon Shaft products in his irons and wedges to emerge victorious at the Japan Golf Tour’s year-end Golf Nippon Series JT Cup. 

The Champion played N.S.PRO MODUS³ TOUR125 steel shafts in his irons and wedges and shot 13-under par with rounds of 65-68-69-65—267 at Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club in Tokyo.  He earned ¥40,000,000 (yen) ($257,650) for the win, his second on the JGTO.

Meanwhile, the 2025 JGTO leading money winner also played N.S.PRO MODUS³ TOUR125 steel shafts in his irons. He had two victories and ten top 10 finishes during the season in which he earned ¥120,231,009 (approximately $775,000 depending on the exchange rate).

Finally, a 23-year-old native of Japan who uses Nippon Shaft products was the Japan LPGA’s 2025 leading money winner. She won four tournaments and finished in the top 10 nineteen other times, earning a season total of ¥227,285,959 ($1.45 million).

The champion used N.S.PRO MODUS³ TOUR Prototype steel shafts in her irons (4-PW and N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid Prototype in #5) and wedges; the N.S. PRO Regio Formula MB+ graphite shaft in her driver; the N.S.PRO Regio Formula M+ graphite shaft in her fairway club, and the N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid in her Utility club.
