Nancy Hewitt Maul Named Executive Director of the Northern California PGA Foundation
VACAVILLE, Calif., — The Northern California Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association (NCPGA) is pleased to announce Nancy Hewitt Maul has been named Executive Director of the Northern California PGA Foundation.
Maul, who has been with the NCPGA since 2004, comes well-prepared to lead this thriving 501(c)(3) charitable foundation, having served as the NCPGA’s Assistant Executive Director since 2009 and as Managing Director of the foundation since 2015.
“Nancy Maul has already made a significant impact in the trajectory of the Northern California PGA Foundation,” said Tim Burr, President of the Northern California PGA Foundation. “She is extremely passionate about the foundation and its vision to impact lives in a positive way through golf. She possesses the ability to forge lasting relationships with key donors and create quality partnerships that have significantly benefitted important programs like PGA HOPE. The NCPGA Foundation is very fortunate to have Nancy as Executive Director coupled with its strong and dedicated board of directors.”
As executive director Maul will oversee all donor relations and programs related to the foundation with emphasis on PGA HOPE, a flagship program which benefits Veterans by offering a series of free golf clinics that enhance mental, social, physical and emotional well-being. She will also be charged with executing the foundation’s business and strategic plans, assignments which will come naturally for her, given Maul’s extensive background with the NCPGA and her earlier tenure as Director of Worldwide Sales of the Personal Solutions Division at Autodesk, Inc.
“We congratulate Nancy on her new position as Executive Director of the Northern California PGA Foundation,” said Len Dumas, Executive Director/COO of the Northern California Section of the PGA. “Nancy has been an integral part of the foundation since its inception, constantly uncovering ways on how we can grow and positively affect the lives of those we serve. Nancy’s dedication and drive are now reflected in the success of the cornerstone programs and initiatives within our Foundation. Well done Nancy!”
In addition to her years of solid business experience, Maul has an impressive background within the golf industry. She has served as a Board Director for the Ellie Mae Classic (PGA TOUR’s Web.Com Tour), Board Director/Treasurer for the San Francisco Mayor’s Women’s Golf Council, Volunteer Official for the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA), Past President of the Executive Women’s Golf Association (Sonoma-Marin-Napa Chapter) and a Founding Member of the California Alliance for Golf (CAG).
“Working alongside our dedicated PGA professionals and section staff along with the corporate executives who serve as Directors on our foundation’s board, we are impacting the lives of Veterans through PGA HOPE, serving the PGA members of Northern California and growing the game of golf,” said Nancy Maul. “It is extremely rewarding, and I’m honored to serve as Executive Director.”
