NOTEEFY APPOINTS MICHAEL DWYER AS DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

January 2, 2024

(LOS ANGELES, Calif.) – Noteefy has named Michael Dwyer as Director of Business Development of the technology company powering golf’s No. 1 automated tee time waitlist notification program.

Dwyer will interface with daily-fee golf courses and resorts throughout North America to adopt the Noteefy system whereby golfers desiring tee times already taken by others at their favorite courses receive real-time text and e-mail alerts when those slots open due to cancellation.  They then book tee times online per the normal process.

Over the past decade, Dwyer managed software sales for Supermove, Fix by Rockwell Automation, SAS and Xerox.  He is an avid golfer who has played courses in 20 U.S. states and four provinces in his native Canada.

“From Day One, the reaction I get from golf courses is ‘why wouldn’t I embrace Noteefy?’,” says Dwyer.  “The thesis is powerful yet simple:  Noteefy automation helps operators fill cancelled tee times, and helps golfers get on courses when they want.”

“Mike Dwyer is 100% customer centric with an obsession to make golf courses perform better,” says Jake Gordon, Founder and CEO of Noteefy.  “He is adept at turning courses from deficits due to cancellations to immediate money makers through the Noteefy tool.”

Dwyer joins one of the golf-industry’s fastest-growing companies.  In the past several months, Noteefy was instituted by leading multi-course operators Bobby Jones Links, KemperSports, Landscapes Golf Management, PGA TOUR’s TPC Network and Touchstone Golf.  Single golf courses and resorts are also utilizing Noteefy in droves and finding it transformative.

Research shows more than 20% of online tee times are cancelled and go unfilled, leaving up to $50,000 annually lost revenue for courses.  Those leveraging Noteefy report six-figure revenue increases while relieving golfers’ frustrations previously caused by their endlessly calling courses and refreshing screens in search of preferred tee times.

About

Bringing cutting-edge technology and innovation to golf course and resort operators, Noteefy (pronounced “Notify”) has the first automated tee-time assistant and waitlist solution for improved golfer booking experiences as well as course staff efficiency and financial performance. The Noteefy booking assistant is customized to each course’s branding and integrates directly on top of any course’s POS tee sheet without requiring an implementation.  Many courses report six-figure revenue gains from tee times that would have otherwise perished due to golfer cancellations.
