OMEGA, OFFICIAL PATRON OF THE PGA OF AMERICA, OFFERS SPECTATORS IN ST. LOUIS A VARIETY OF ACTIVATIONS AT THE PGA CHAMPIONSHIP
Onsite OMEGA Boutique and Selfie Wall with OMEGA golf ambassadors enhance the spectator experience
OMEGA, Official Patron of the PGA Championship, will once again offer spectators unique opportunities around this year’s PGA Championship at Bellerive Country Club – an interactive photo display with OMEGA Ambassadors Sergio Garcia, Rory McIlroy and their newest golf ambassador Tommy Fleetwood, an opportunity for luxury shopping in The Championship Shops and a chance to test their putting skills at the OMEGA Boutique inside the Plaza Frontenac Mall.
THE CHAMPIONSHIP SHOPS
As fans enter The Championship Shops they will see two walls with life-size, digital images of OMEGA ambassadors Garcia, McIlroy and Fleetwood. The “selfie walls” will allow spectators to take selfies next to virtual likenesses of the three in a luxury feel that coincides with OMEGA’s one-of-a-kind brand. Spectators who take the photos will be encouraged to post on social media with the following hashtags #OMEGAGolf and #OMEGAmychoice.
Inside, spectators can view and purchase items at the OMEGA onsite boutique, which will feature the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra “Golf” Collection, leathergoods and accessories with the PGA Championship logo.
OMEGA BOUTIQUE
Away from Bellerive Country Club, golf fans will also find an interactive golf opportunity at the OMEGA Boutique in the Plaza Frontenac Mall (1701 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO). OMEGA will install a putting green in front of the OMEGA Boutique, which will open on Thursday, Aug. 2 and customers/passersby can test their skills throughout tournament week.
ABOUT THE OMEGA SEAMASTER AQUA TERRA “GOLF“ COLLECTION
The global game has served as inspiration for many of OMEGA’s finest timepieces, including the Seamaster Aqua Terra “Golf“ collection. They feature horizontal teak pattern dials and NATO straps to keep the watch firmly on the wrist through the golf swings. There are two eye-catching dial/strap combinations to choose from: a sunbrushed black dial matched with green and black striped NATO strap; and a silvery dial matched with black and orange striped NATO strap.
Both have symmetrical cases crafted from stainless steel and a wave-edged design on the caseback. Other common features include a date window at 6 o’clock, and hands and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova. On each watch, the 15, 30, 45 and 60 on the minute track matches the color of the strap attached, as does the seconds hand and Seamaster logo. Precision is a given, even on those days when your golf swing is a little off. Powered by the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8900, both watches are certified at the industry’s highest level by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
ABOUT THE OMEGA-PGA OF AMERICA PARTNERSHIP
