World-class golf instructor Hank Haney makes an appearance at the OMEGA Golf Trophy Competition in Scottsdale
OMEGA, Official Patron of the PGA of America, hosted the ninth and final qualifying tournament Wednesday in the OMEGA Golf Trophy Series at Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
OMEGA brand ambassador and world-class golf instructor Hank Haney made an appearance at the competition.
The competition allowed players to qualify for the Series Finals to be held at Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, N.Y. on May 15. OMEGA began the third-annual OMEGA Golf Trophy series in the fall of 2018 in Chicago at Conway Farms Golf Club.
Over the course of nine months, OMEGA is hosting 10 VIP events at prestigious golf courses across the country and will hold the championship round during the week of the PGA Championship.
The top threesome from each local qualifying tournament will be guests of OMEGA at the 2019 PGA Championship, May 16–19, 2019 at Bethpage State Park, Black Course in Farmingdale, N.Y.

Winners of the second-annual OMEGA Golf Trophy Finals in August 2018 were presented with the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Omega Master Co-Axial 41.5 mm Golf Edition from OMEGA golf ambassador and current World No. 14, Tommy Fleetwood.
At the conclusion of the inaugural OMEGA Golf Trophy Finals in August 2017, OMEGA ambassador and 28-time Olympic Games Medalist Michael Phelps and Masters Champion and fellow OMEGA ambassador, Sergio Garcia, presented awards to the winning team.
The 2019 PGA Championship marks the 101st edition of one of the most anticipated golf events on the calendar. The greatest golfers in the world will compete for the Wanamaker Trophy. OMEGA has enjoyed a relationship with the PGA of America since 2011.
