NEW YORK, NY. – (May 19, 2019) OMEGA, Official Patron of the PGA of America, has concluded its week-long program and on-site activation at the 101st PGA Championship at Bethpage State Park, Black Course in Farmingdale, N.Y. Brooks Koepka won the PGA Championship by two strokes with an overall score of 63-65-70-74 = 272 (-8) for his fourth Major Championship victory.
To kick off Championship week, OMEGA ambassadors Tommy Fleetwood, Sergio Garcia and Rory McIlroy debuted short films celebrating OMEGA’s long-standing relationship with NASA and the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing in 1969.
On Wednesday, OMEGA hosted its third-annual OMEGA Golf Trophy Finals at Nassau Country Club where 30 guests from around the country enjoyed a competitive round of golf. At the OMEGA Golf Trophy awards dinner later that evening, the top three finishing teams were presented awards with the championship-winning threesome receiving the OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch.
On-site at the PGA Championship and continuing the 50th anniversary celebration, OMEGA provided spectators with an interactive photo opportunity at the entrance of The PGA Shops featuring astronauts in gold spacesuits. Patrons were also encouraged to take photos on a lunar rover located in the middle of OMEGA’s on-site boutique.
The OMEGA on-site boutique inside The PGA Shops provided fans with a chance to try on and purchase OMEGA products.
