Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa Hosts Fourth Annual Women’s Golf Day Event

May 14, 2026

Major Championship Golf Destination Invites Women to Experience Golf, Connection and Community, Featuring Elisa Gaudet, Founder of International Women’s Golf Day

FRISCO, TX — Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa is proud to host and celebrate its fourth annual Women’s Golf Day by welcoming women of all ages and skill levels to experience the home of modern golf on Friday, May 29.

Held in partnership with the PGA of America, an official partner of Women’s Golf Day, this four-hour signature series event is designed to inspire new golfers, energize seasoned players, and foster a vibrant community of women connected by a love of the game. Elisa Gaudet, Founder of International Women’s Golf Day, will attend the event for the third consecutive year and has recognized Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa’s celebration as a premier “Signature Series” event for Women’s Golf Day.

“At Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, we believe golf is for everyone, and Women’s Golf Day is one of the most meaningful ways we bring that belief to life,” says  Monica Smiley, Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa Director of Marketing. “Each year, this event grows in energy, participation, and spirit and we are honored to open our doors to women who are discovering golf for the first time as well as those who have loved the game for years.”

Attendees will enjoy a “choose your own adventure” format with two playing options. Women may choose to play a round on The Swing, the lighted, 10-hole par-3 short course nestled in the PGA District, or sign up for a one-hour lesson at the PGA of America Coaching Center powered by T-Mobile with PGA of America Golf Professionals. Trish Holt, Head PGA Golf Professional at Fields Ranch, will be on the short course offering personalized tips and guidance throughout the morning.

Following the on-course experience, attendees will gather at Ice House for a Texas-style BBQ brunch and prizes. The afternoon concludes at the PGA of America for a cocktail hour and an engaging fireside chat on the growth and future of women’s golf, featuring influential voices including Elisa Guadet, founder of International Women’s Golf Day, and Trish Holt, Head Golf Professional at Fields Ranch.

“More important than any score, the true value in the game of golf is the ability to bring people together,” says Trish Holt, PGA, Head Golf Professional at Fields Ranch. “It is our hope that this experience not only celebrates women enjoying the game, but also continues to foster a vibrant and growing community of women in golf.”

Now in its fourth year, Omni PGA Frisco’s Women’s Golf Day event has welcomed more than 70 participants in past iterations, a number that continues to grow alongside women’s golf nationally. According to the National Golf Foundation, more than 8.1 million women played a round of golf in 2025 and women now represent 28% of all on-course golfers. Omni PGA Frisco Resort is committed to being part of that momentum by creating on-property experiences that provide access and keep women coming back to the game.

The event begins at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29. Registration is $109 plus tax. For more information or to register, omnihotels.com/hotels/pga-frisco/golf/womens-golf-day.
