BUFFALO, NY – OnCore Golf is excited to announce its sponsorship of the United Golfer Association (UGA) Pro-Am on December 14, 2020 at the Four Seasons Resort (Tranquilo Golf Club) in Orlando Florida. OnCore Golf has always championed growing the game of golf through diversity and are pleased to be helping the UGA increase awareness of their efforts.
The UGA Invitational is hosting an unprecedented opportunity to enjoy a competitive round of golf pairing some of the most talented young black professional golfers and amateurs with business executives, celebrities, influencers and entrepreneurs.
Founded in 1925, the UGA is a non-profit organization that is committed to increasing the introduction, development and advancement of African American youth to the sport of golf. The UGA Developmental Golf Academy will provide these golfers with the resources and direction necessary to cultivate their passion for the sport as competitors and professionals in the industry. The UGA Golf Academy is designed to prepare them mentally, physically and professionally to compete as future Tour players and golf professionals throughout the world.
“We are delighted to be supporting an organization like the UGA and the UGA Invitational. It has always been important to lead by example, consistent with our core beliefs, and to show all golfers that OnCore Golf is an inclusive golf company focused on growing the game” states Steve Coulton, co-founder. “During the UGA Invitational, OnCore Golf will be sponsoring a golf clinic and also providing golf balls and other golf gear for a closest to the pin challenge.”
Notable players in the UGA Invitational are Kamaiu Johnson, Willie Mack III, Tim O’Neal, Shasta Averyhardt, Mulbe Dillard IV, Marcus Byrd, Alexis Belton, Sierra Sims, Lakareber Abe, Jim Thorpe, Jim Dent, Matthew Vital, Barry Babbitt, Xeve Perez, and Morgan Horrell.
