One More Roll Golf Media has released the pilot of The Arena Game, its new original show exploring arena golf’s competition, personalities and technology. Following the pilot’s debut, the show officially begins Season 1 this week with guest Jeff Neubarth, the Emmy Award-winning producer whose work helps bring arena golf to television audiences.
Hosted by PGA Professional and Athlon Sports Senior Golf Writer Brendon Elliott and Jacksonville University Division I golfer Bretton Mackiewicz, The Arena Game combines a veteran coach and journalist’s perspective with the experience of a current college competitor.
The pilot, recorded October 30 and available now on the One More Roll Golf Media YouTube channel, introduces that dynamic through a preview of TGL and WTGL. Elliott and Mackiewicz discuss schedules, rosters, championship predictions and must-watch matchups. In the “Lineup Lab” segment, they select hypothetical starting threes and explain the decisions behind their choices.
Their championship predictions already give viewers a debate to follow: Mackiewicz backs The Bay Golf Club for the TGL title, while Elliott picks Boston Common Golf.
Official Season 1, Episode 1: Jeff Neubarth
This week’s official premiere welcomes Neubarth, bringing a production perspective to the show’s exploration of arena golf. His background includes producing the first five editions of The Match, leading Callaway Golf’s media production and working across major sports television properties before joining TMRW Sports. His experience connects directly to a central question for The Arena Game: how do team competition, technology and television shape the way fans experience golf?
