Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces their next workshop for Golf Professionals who are interested in growing their golf coaching business in 2023.
This workshop “10 Tips to Grow Your Business with Operation 36” will feature special guest Jeff Overholt, PGA of Canada, who is the Director of Instruction at The Harvest Golf Club in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
Overholt is an Operation 36 Top 50 Coach who has rapidly grown his coaching business over the past two years. He will be sharing his best practices and strategies for coaches to grow their golf coaching business in 2023.
Overholt said, “Operation 36 has been the catalyst for the growth of our Junior program going from 0 – 100+! Players enrolled in the program quickly find their given challenge point and the associated skills which need to be developed to reach their goals. The program has also created opportunities for golf course staff to earn additional revenue working with the program.”
The workshop will be hosted online, on Friday, December 2nd at 11:00 a.m. EDT. It is designed to provide strategies that will be useful to all golf professionals, even those who are not currently in an Operation 36 program location.
About Operation 36
Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
