Raleigh, NC – Raleigh based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces their 2023 Top 50 Golf & Master Coach Awards.
The Operation 36 Top 50 Golf Coach Award is unique in the industry as it is the only one that uses quantitative measures to determine who is making the biggest impact on golf through their program. This award is supported by data collected throughout the year.
Operation 36 announced this year’s recipients of the Master Coach Award. This elite award is given to coaches who have three years as a Top 50 Coach. Year after year, these coaches have a record of creating golfers, holding 9-hole events and helping golfers lose strokes.
Ryan Dailey, Operation 36 Co-Founder said, “As with any profession, you have folks that go above and beyond in delivering a world class experience. They want to be recognized as a leader in their industry. We also wanted to be able to objectively measure what a Top 50 experience was and then make it available to families looking for coaching in their area. The Top 50 Coach Award and the Master Coach Award recognizes coaches who are delivering a world class Operation 36 experience to their families. Award winners are chosen based on numerous measurable metrics that we can see here at HQ along with a submitted nomination form by the coach. Each year the bar is raised and it is harder and harder for a coach to earn a Top 50 Award. We are confident that the coaches who earned the awards this year are the best of the best and they’ve proven it through measurable objectives. This is not a popularity contest or the awards committee choosing their favorites. We’ve done everything we could do to make this an objective process each year. Congratulations to this year’s awards winners, see you in Orlando for the Awards Ceremony in January!”
Matt Reagan, Operation 36 Co-founder said, “We’re incredibly proud of our Operation 36 Top 50 coaches, who are at the forefront of golf development. This award, unique for its data-driven approach, recognizes coaches who excel in implementing the Operation 36 curriculum and significantly impact the golf journey. Their dedication is evident through measurable progress in creating new golfers and enhancing the golf experience. As we introduce our newest class of Master Top 50 Coach Award recipients, we honor those who have consistently delivered excellence, shaping the future of golf.”

About Operation 36
Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
