Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces their next workshop for Golf Professionals who are interested in extending their coaching season by offering Indoor Coaching.
This workshop “How to Coach Indoors with Operation 36” will feature a special guest, Operation 36 Master Coach, Evan Lambert, PGA, of Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, CT.
Off-course golf is growing in popularity! According to the National Golf Foundation, “An estimated 2.5 million (10%) of today’s 25.6 million on-course players credit their off-course experience(s) for getting them to the golf course.” Further, “Approximately half of on-course participants agree that off-course ‘re-engaged them’ with golf.”
Lambert will be sharing his innovative strategies for utilizing the Operation 36 Program Indoors with Trackman to extend his coaching season into the winter and prepare his players for Operation 36 Matches outdoors.
This is a “can’t miss”workshop! It will be hosted online, on Friday, January 12th at 1:00 p.m. ET. This workshop is designed to provide strategies that will be useful to all golf professionals, even those who are not currently in an Operation 36 program location.
Space is limited, and those who are interested may grab their seat through this free registration here.
About Operation 36
Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
