Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces their next Educational Roundtable workshop for Golf Professionals who are interested in improving their golf programs.
This workshop “How to Go from 0 to 100 Golfers” will feature special guest Martin Lucas, PGA, who is the Academy Director of Hedingham Golf Academy in Raleigh, NC.
Martin Lucas left a successful practice to lead a brand new academy in October of 2020. He started his Academy without any existing golfers, and has successfully grown it to over 100 golfers in less than two years.
Lucas will be joining us to share his strategies for growing a successful program, including his lead generation and unique follow-up process. He said, “My decision to leave my successful practice to run a full time academy has been a blessing. I now have more family time, while still supporting my family.”
Golf coaches are invited to join this free workshop. It will be hosted online, on Monday, May 23th at 12:00 p.m. EDT. This workshop is designed to provide strategies that will be useful to all golf professionals, even those who are not currently in an Operation 36 program location.
About Operation 36
Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
