Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces that they are hosting a webinar for General Managers and Golf Professionals on Thursday November 16th at 1:00 pm ET.
This workshop “The Operation 36 Effect” will feature Jameson Wallace, PGA, who is the General Manager and Director of Golf at Chambersburg Country Club in Pennsylvania.
Jameson Wallace started his Operation 36 program six years ago with a handful of Juniors on a snowy afternoon. Since that day, he has created 315 golfers, and now has 150 active participants in his current program with five coaches.
Wallace now serves as the General Manager and Director of Golf at the club and will be sharing his story and advice to other golf professionals. He will be sharing what “The Operation 36 Effect” has been at Chambersburg Country Club for his coaches, golfers and club.
Wallace said, “The program has been nothing short of a game changer. We’ve seen members grow to all time highs. We’ve seen rounds of golf continue to maintain all time high. We’ve been able to grow our professional staff to levels never imagined with multiple PGA professionals and 3 in the PGM program currently. It is not an accident these changes have come since the implementation of the Wallace Golf Academy & the Operation 36 curriculum. Maybe more importantly, we’ve seen a record number of families, together at the Club surrounded with the golf experience. It makes us feel great about leaving the Club each night. “
The workshop will be hosted online, on Thursday, November 16th at 1:00 pm ET. Space is limited, and those who are interested may grab their seat through this free registration here.
About Operation 36
Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
