Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces their next workshop for Golf Professionals who are interested in growing their golf coaching business in 2023.
This workshop “How to Start Small and Grow your Golf Programs” will feature special guest Kellie Hines, PGA, who is the Director of Instruction at Hokuala Golf Club in Lihue, Hawaii. Hines is an award-winning Operation 36 Top 50 Coach who has rapidly grown her coaching business, while also creating an amazing community at her facility.
Hines said, “This program is amazing. We start around the green and work our way back to the tee as we progress. It really takes away the scary aspect of players thinking they need to bomb a 200 yard shot from the get-go. Our first session just ended and it was so much fun to see the progression of players and most of all, seeing them really enjoy the game. It brings me such joy to see them enjoying golf.”
The workshop will be hosted online, on Monday, February 27th 16th at 11:30 a.m. ES. It is designed to provide strategies that will be useful to all golf professionals, even those who are not currently in an Operation 36 program location.
About Operation 36
Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
