Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces their next Educational Roundtable workshop for busy Golf Professionals who are interested in launching an Operation 36 program in 2022.
This workshop “How to Set up Once, Grow Every Year” will feature special guest Meredith Lobeck, PGA/LPGA, who is the Director of Instruction at Granite Bay Golf Club in Granite Bay, CA.
Last month, Lobeck was awarded Master Top 50 Coach by Operation 36. She will share her experience with implementing the Operation 36 program at her facility successfully, and the specific strategies she used to grow year after year.
Lobeck said, “Operation 36 is a staple in our members’ households. They absolutely love the program and love the fact that they can plan their whole year out. I have run programs for the past five years, and I absolutely love it.”
The workshop will be hosted online, on Thursday, January 20th at 8:00 p.m. EST. It is designed to provide strategies that will be useful to all golf professionals, even those who are not currently in an Operation 36 program location.
About Operation 36
Operation 36 is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
