Garner, NC–Operation 36 announces its signature Online Coach Academy is now available for free for all Golf Professionals and PGA Golf Management Students.
The Online Coach Academy is one-of-a-kind tool that provides valuable training for all Golf Professionals looking to improve their coaching, while improving their business at the same time.
Operation 36 Co-founder and CEO, Matt Reagan, PGA, said, “Over 700 coaches have embraced our Development Program. Many coaches who have taught traditional programs are realizing that it is not effective to connect golfers for the long-term and numerous new students end up leaving the game. We understand that if beginners don’t have a motivating plan to play the game and develop into a life-long golfer, the game will never actually grow. The Coach Academy has previously only been available to all Operation 36 Program locations. At our core we want to help all professionals make a transition to Developmental Golf Programming and that starts with education. This is why we are making select education courses live for anyone.”
From business to coaching, the Operation 36 Coach Academy is a hub to educate Golf Professionals on starting and growing effective Developmental Golf Programs at their facility. It is housed as one of many features in the Operation 36 Coaching Platform.
The Public Coach Academy Courses will continue to grow in the coming months, but currently hosts the course: “The 3 Keys to Running a Developmental Golf Program” which is free, as well as the Operation 36 Certification, which is available for purchase.
Operation 36 will continue to add new courses and has expert education partners that will be releasing training to help Professionals sharpen their skills when it comes to developing golfers for the long-term.
Operation 36 Co-founder and COO, Ryan Dailey, PGA, says, “With over 500 program locations, we get numerous inquiries from facility leadership looking for golf professionals with Operation 36 Program training or experience. These managers and directors see the power of what a Junior or Adult Developmental Program could do for their facility. Our goal with the Coach Academy is to provide a blueprint for coaches to create a Developmental Program.”
The new coach accounts also provide a direct link to schedule a free program consultation anytime. Operation 36 has full time PGA Program Advisors on staff to help plan programming. The new online program planning tools allow facilities to plan dates and see the impact of the program even before signing up.

About Operation 36
Operation 36 is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform.
The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
