Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces their next workshop for Golf Professionals who are interested in growing their golf coaching business in 2023.
This workshop “How to Start Small and Grow your Golf Programs” will feature special guest Trent Rommann, PGA, who is the Director of Player Development at Crestview Country Club in Wichita, KS. Rommann is an award-winning Operation 36 Top 50 Coach who has rapidly grown his coaching business.
“Operation 36 is the most successful golfer development program at our facility. Operation 36 has been so successful at our facility that our regional general manager has asked for my assistance in using this program at other facilities in our Concert Golf portfolio (Concert Golf Properties – Club Management Group)” Rommann said.
He continued, “Our Juniors and Ladies are playing more golf and they are improving. Our Ladies group is playing more golf together, and this group consists of all levels of golfers. Operation 36 academy Juniors are generating “flow through” revenue at our club, including Golf Shop, F&B, Cart fees, etc. ”
The workshop will be hosted online, on Friday, February 3rd 16th at 2:00 p.m. EST. It is designed to provide strategies that will be useful to all golf professionals, even those who are not currently in an Operation 36 program location.
About Operation 36
Operation 36 is a Division of Golf Genius and is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
