Raleigh, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces a free upcoming workshop for Golf Professionals: “How to Launch an Operation 36 Golf Program for Adults.”
Golf professionals are invited to learn more about launching a program for Adults at their golf facility. The workshop will be hosted by Matt Reagan, PGA, co-founder of the Operation 36 Program, now operating as a Division of Golf Genius. Reagan will be sharing more details on Operation 36 programs, the most effective golf developmental program.
During this workshop, Golf Professionals will learn how to integrate a developmental golf program that attracts and retains golfers. Reagan will cover the strategies to create a successful Operation 36 Program, as well as the marketing strategies to launch a program quickly this spring.
“Over the years, we have been closely associated with our Junior programs, and we are so thrilled with the surge in interest in using Operation 36 for Adult programs. In fact, approximately 40% of our current golfers are adults. We feel that after 12 years of focusing on the beginner market, we are beginning to unlock the pillars that need to be in place for a program to be successful. Through this workshop, golf professionals will learn how the program works, and specifically how to structure dates, pricing, and leverage the technology available to them to successfully launch a developmental program in 2022. ”
The workshop will be hosted online February 24th at 8:00 pm E.S.T. Enrollment is now open for coaches looking to launch a Spring program. Golf professionals are signing up now to get their program dates finalized, their curriculum and lesson plans in place, as well as their marketing materials complete.

About Operation 36
Operation 36 is the most effective developmental program to teach beginners how to play golf. All new players begin on the course, and instead of starting at the tee box, they play from 25 yards away from the hole. Once the player shoots par (36) from 25 yards, they back up to 50 yards, and so on, until they are shooting even par (36) from the full tee box. Participants engage in weekly classes taught by golf professionals and all progress of the golfers is tracked in the Operation 36 Platform. The Operation 36 mission is to create 1 million new golfers over the next five years, and they want to help coaches with introducing new golfers and retaining them for the long term.
