Orlando, FL – Today marks the official launch of the Par 3 Golf Association (P3GA), a new organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting the unique challenges and enjoyment of par 3 golf courses. The P3GA aims to promote and act as a unifying voice for Par 3 Golf courses and support those who own or operate them.
The Par 3 Golf Association is founded on the belief that par 3 golf is not just a shortened version of the game but a distinct experience that tests accuracy and strategy. “Par 3 courses are where the essence of golf shines. They are accessible, require less time to play, and offer an excellent opportunity for players of all skill levels to hone their game,” said Ronan Galvin, the founder of P3GA. “Half the cost, half the time, twice the fun!”
To celebrate its launch, the P3GA will have a booth (#5579) at the PGA show. The show is a great opportunity for all Par 3 course owners and operators to get together and connect and to learn more about how they can help grow the P3GA.
Membership in the P3GA is open to any golf course owners and operators but par 3 and short course owner will find the most benefits. Members will benefit from exclusive access to P3GA events, a global network of par 3 courses operators and enthusiasts, and resources to improve their courses experience to drive more revenue. “We are excited to build a community that shares a passion for this often-overlooked format of the game,” added Galvin.
The P3GA aims to support the growth and maintenance of par 3 golf courses worldwide. Part of its mission is to collaborate with course designers, golfing bodies, and local communities to promote the development and sustainability of these courses.
