Oceanside, CA – Kismet Golf, formerly Partaake, today announced its rebrand and expanded platform—a modern, AI-driven solution for golf tournament management that handles registration, payments, pairings, live scoring, and more in one place.
Founded by Kat Slump, a former Division I golfer and full-stack software engineer with a decade of experience at Apple and high-growth startups—including a role as founding engineer at Phia, a fashion-tech company started by Bill Gates’ daughter, Phoebe—Kismet Golf was built to solve a problem she knew firsthand: running a golf event shouldn’t require five tools, three spreadsheets, and a prayer.
“I’ve been on both sides—playing competitive golf and building software at scale,” said Slump. “The gap in modern tools for event organizers was obvious. We built Kismet because running a tournament shouldn’t feel like a second job. Our goal is simple: whether it’s your first event or your fiftieth, you can’t mess it up if you’re using Kismet.”

Kismet Golf uses AI to accelerate event setup and reduce the manual load on organizers—from generating event websites to drafting participant emails.
