PATRIOT GOLF SCHOOL TO HOST A 2-DAY GOLF SCHOOL AT THE REUNION RESORT & GOLF CLUB

Scottsdale, AZ – The Patriot Golf Foundation, a non-profit organization headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, and its Patriot Golf Schools will host a 2-Day golf school on March 22nd and 23rd, 2020 at the Reunion Resort & Golf Club located in Kissimmee, FL. Two Orlando-based foundations that support military veterans and their families; Fairways For Warriors and The Camaraderie Foundation will benefit from proceeds raised from the event.

The 24-person golf school will be comprised of 18 Participant/Sponsors, 6 Military Veterans, and 6 Instructors. The local foundations will invite two veterans to attend the golf school each day at no cost. VetTix.org, a nonprofit organization, will use their platform of providing donated tickets, passes and special experiences for veterans to allocate the two additional spots for the golf schools. The 4:1 student to instructor ratio will provide hands-on attention throughout the event.

Seth Glasco, Founder and Director of Instruction for the Patriot Golf Schools, will lead the staff that will be comprised of members of the Patriot Golf Schools Master Instructor Staff including Mike Grey, former Nicklaus-Flick Golf School instructor; Brian O’Neill and Skip Kendall from the Orlando Golf Academy, and other PGA Professionals from Reunion’s staff.

According to Seth Glasco, “Every time we host a Patriot Golf School, the instructors and sponsors walk away having gained so much from their time with the veterans. The camaraderie the veterans experience from spending the day with their fellow service members has such a positive impact on them. Regardless of experience with the game of golf, or the physical or mental challenges they may have from their time in the service, we are able to bring a sense of accomplishment to each of the participating veterans.”

The 2-Day golf school daily schedule includes a continental breakfast, 3-hours of focused instruction, lunch, a 9-hole on-course “Play & Learn” session, followed by a reception hosted at the Honma Experience at Reunion. Each player will receive a special Patriot Golf School gift bag.

“We are excited to bring Florida’s first Patriot Golf School to the Reunion Resort,” stated Ted Simons, Executive Director. “Central Florida has a large veteran population and combined with such a great golfing community that provides tremendous support of our military veterans and their families, we feel this is a great opportunity to raise awareness and resources for these local foundations. Furthering our belief in “The Healing Power of Golf”, we are proud to share the great game of golf with our American Heroes.”
