PATRIOT GOLF SCHOOLS ANNOUNCE ITS MASTER INSTRUCTOR STAFF
Scottsdale, AZ – The Patriot Golf Schools and the Patriot Golf Foundation, a non-profit organization headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, are pleased to announce the formation of its National Master Instructor Staff.
Over twenty of the country’s top instructors lead by Mike Malaska, Dean of Instruction and 2011 PGA National Teacher of the Year, have eagerly agreed to become the first wave of Master Instructors for the Patriot Golf Schools. The staff of veteran instructors bring over 500 combined years of teaching the game of golf. Many of those years were tallied while working together under the tutelage of Hall-of-Fame Instructors Mr. Bob Toski and Mr. Jim Flick.
“As we like to say, ‘we’ve put the band back together’,” stated Seth Glasco, Founder and Director of Instruction. “When we formulated our plans to host Patriot Golf Schools across the country, we immediately picked up the phone and reached out to former members of the Nicklaus-Flick Golf School staff. Not surprisingly, many of the staff has gone on to become highly recognized and honored within the golf instruction community.”
In addition to Malaska and Glasco, other Master Instructors include both PGA National and Section Instructors of the Year. A short list of the other staff includes; Mark and Kathy Wood, Gary Knapp, Dick Drager, Mike Gray, Doug Roberts, and the list goes on. In addition to past members of Nicklaus-Flick, others spent time with the Golf Digest Golf Schools and the Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf.
According to Malaska, “When you think back when we were all involved with the Nicklaus-Flick Golf Schools, we developed the understanding and the skill set of how to put on the most successful golf schools in the country. The list of Fortune 500 clients we taught was beyond impressive. It is going to be great to have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from one another – just like in the past.”
Patriot Golf Schools will offer 1, 2 and 3-day golf schools with proceeds donated to qualified foundations and charities that support military veterans and their families. Each golf school will include veterans paired with the other students throughout the instruction and social activities.
Upcoming Patriot Golf Schools are confirmed for February 20th at the JW Marriott Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ and April 15th to 17th at The Patriot Golf Club in Owasso, OK, home of the Folds of Honor Foundation. Plans to host a Patriot Golf School in Central Florida in March are in the works.
