Industry veteran Steve Gray will lead sales efforts for the innovative golf brand’s new products and offerings.

PORTLAND, ORE. – PAYNTR GOLF today announced the appointment of golf industry sales veter-an, Steve Gray, as the company’s National Director of Sales. In this new role, Gray will draw from his successful career in independent golf manufacturer sales to lead a growing team of PAYNTR GOLF representatives across the country.
“We are thrilled to have Steve join our team,” said Mike Forsey, co-founder and president of PAYNTR GOLF. “His extensive experience in the golf industry will serve as a facilitator as we con-tinue to add support to our sales efforts as demand for our products surge.”
Gray comes from a long and effective career as a sales executive in the golf industry working with brands including Callaway, Greg Norman, AHEAD and Reebok. Gray also held status as a Class “A” PGA golf professional for numerous years working in a diverse style clubs and courses around the country.
“Steve is an important addition to PAYNTR GOLF as we work to further elevate our brand,” said Forsey. “His impressive background will allow him to make great contributions to our team while we plan for more demand and launch new products.”
The immediate success of the brand’s debut in early 2021 has justified the need to appoint a seasoned veteran to oversee the company’s sales efforts and advance its partnerships with am-bassador David Leadbetter and the Leadbetter Academies. PAYNTR GOLF entered the golf indus-try earlier this year with the introduction of the PAYNTR X 001 F golf shoe, giving golfers a competitive advantage from the ground up by utilizing a unique traction system born out of biomechanical insights.
The PAYNTR GOLF brand is the result of a dynamic partnership between co-founders Mike Forsey and David Paynter. Forsey is a U.S. based golf footwear expert with more than 30 years’ experi-ence in the global arena. Paynter is a former professional cricketer who created the successful PAYNTR performance athletic footwear company in the U.K.
