’18 State of Industry Registration Now Open

The reservation process for attending Pellucid’s 16th annual Pellucid State of the Industry Report during the PGA Merchandising Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando FL is now open. We will again be holding the event with the assistance of our friends at the International Network of Golf (ING) but with a new, larger room W312C at 10:30 AM on Thursday January 24, 2019.

Jim K. will be again cover the quantitative health measures of Utilization, Velocity and Play Rate and Stuart will bring a mix of new topics (TopGolf’s upside/downside) and updates on perennial topics we’ve been tracking (age migration, technology hits & misses). Infused with objectivity and always a little humor, it’s our version of “infotainment.”

As outlined in the previous Save the Date email, there will only be one SOI presentation this year.

With the new, larger room space, we’re hopeful that we can easily accommodate as many people as would like to attend, even within the one session constraint, but it always pays to get your seat confirmed early. You may now register using the below link:

We will once again be offering show specials for those who want to order the latest update of the SoI (will be posted and available for download the evening of the presentation) and purchase using a credit card:

We look forward to presenting our 16th Edition of the Pellucid State of the Industry. The preview is that it was an ugly year but not as bad as meets the eye. On the other hand, there was little encouragement that we’ve made any tangible or sustainable progress against any of the key industry health metrics so we’ll again offer up a few of our suggestions on what the industry needs to do to “get growing.”
