Pellucid State of the Industry: Registration open for 17th annual edition

The reservation process for attending Pellucid’s 17th annual Pellucid State of the Industry Report during the PGA Merchandising Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando FL is now open. We will again be holding the event with the assistance of our friends at the International Network of Golf (ING) in room W312C from 10:30AM-12:00PM on Thursday January 23, 2020.

Jim K. will cover the quantitative health measures of Utilization, Velocity and Play Rate along with new types of analysis this year on supply contraction patterns and course transactions while Stuart will bring his always eclectic mix of important but “stealth” trends with a focus this year on how digital golf (simulators, golfertainment and smart ranges) will reshape golf for the average owner/operator and “golfers” (Pellucid or NGF definition?) alike. Infused with objectivity and always a little humor, we try to make learning fun.

ING’s new, larger room space has been able to accommodate the audience size interested in our industry assessment and perspective but it always pays to get your seat confirmed early. You may now register using the below link:

We will once again be offering show specials for those who want to order the latest update of the SoI (will be posted and available for download the evening of the presentation) and purchase using a credit card:

State of the Industry Show Specials

We look forward to presenting our 17th Edition of the Pellucid State of the Industry. The preview is that it was another year of “solidly sideways” but some of the indicators within the neutral zone are “leaning forward” or the component metrics are better aligning relationally (you’ll have to come to hear us explain that observation). Given that this is the sacred anniversary of the Golf 20/20 initiative and we have the pre-post figures now for participants (goal: 55M) and rounds (goal: 1B) we’ll have some fun with how miserably we failed and where we erred along the way.
