Reilly’s Ace at August 26 MAC Sports Foundation Event in St. Louis Earns 2-Year Lease on 2024 Acura
St Louis, MO – Paul Reilly aced the par-3 sixth hole in the MAC Sports Foundation Golf Tournament at Glen Echo Country Club in St. Louis this summer to win a two-year lease on an Acura vehicle.
Reilly’s ace on the 160-yard hole, nicknamed “The Glen,” garnered the lease on a 2024 Acura TLX Technology FWD from Mungenast St. Louis Acura (www.stlouisacura.com). The tournament benefits the MAC Sports Foundation, a mission of the Missouri Athletic Club to “further encourage and recognize outstanding achievements in the field of athletics and, in connection therewith, to select for public recognition those individuals who have made outstanding contributions to and achievement in the fields of sports and athletics.”
Glen Echo opened in 1901 as the first 18-hole golf course in St. Louis and the first private golf course constructed west of the Mississippi River. The course hosted the second playing of golf as an Olympic sport in the 1904 Summer Olympics and was the site of the LPGA’s St. Louis Women’s Invitational in 1954, 1964 and 1970.
