EAGLE PASS, TX, – Jorge Trevino, Jr., aced the 17th hole at the Eagle Pass (Texas) Golf Course on February 14, 2026, to win a 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy SUV as a part of the Eagle Pass High School Baseball Alumni Golf Tournament—a feat protected by Perfect Golf Event’s easy-to-activate prize coverage.
Trevino’s ace on the 181-yard par 3 secured the car, with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $55,000. The tournament, in its third year, supports the Eagle Pass baseball program in the southwest Texas town located on the Rio Grande River. The tournament was sponsored by The Khoury Auto Group and its Hyundai Del Rio dealership and the hole-in-one occurred on a designated prize hole.
“One of our missions is to support the youth in our community, so we were proud to sponsor the hole-in-one contest for the Eagle Pass High School golf tournament,” said Grant Bibb, the General Manager at Hyundai Del Rio. “When a hometown player made the hole-in-one, we were both shocked and absolutely thrilled.
“What happened after that winning shot was completely new to us but working with Perfect Golf Event made the entire process easy, simple and fast. Their team handled everything professionally, giving us peace of mind and allowing us to celebrate an unforgettable moment for our community. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”
Hole-in-one insurance is purchased by golf courses and golf events to add excitement to their tournaments, increase player registration and sell multi-level sponsorships. Most successful events have between one and four hole-in-one contents available to participants. Perfect Golf Event offers tournament organizers and sponsors a simple, reliable process for obtaining a quote for hole-on-one coverage, as well as a wide selection of contests to choose from.
